Velour specializes is fashion, specifically: Fashion Recycled. Our vision for the term “Fashion Recycled” has many facets; The obvious implication referring to the fact we are a Buy*Sell*Trade shop and much of our inventory consists of items we have purchased or traded with you and/or your fellow shoppers. We collect “recycled“ items, and our shop is adorned with vintage apparel {dresses, suits, shoes, etc.}, rare accessories {bowling bags, tie clips, bow ties, jewelry, hats, etc.} and art {old magazine ads, embroidered art, old photos, etc.} - an eclectic mix of modern trends and timeless classics. 

The “not-so-obvious” meaning implied by “Fashion Recycled” is embodied in our Boutique Collection. We believe that much of the beauty & creativity found in modern day fashion, accessories and art is inspired by things of the past. As stated in our mission:

 “There is nothing new under the sun”… at least according to the advice of the wisest man under the sun. Which is preciously why Velour adheres to the belief that trends are meant to be set. And then reset…A venue that encompasses creative, inspiring & lovely things: Apparel, accessories, décor, art, stationary & journals. A resale shop with a boutique twist that allows individuals to recycle their fashion and to experience fashion recycled.

Throughout our humble little hut, dispersed among all the fantastic apparel & fancy trinkets, you will find our Boutique Collection, including but not limited too:

Hair Pieces {handmade & accented with recycled fabrics, buttons, brooches, etc.}

Journals {handcrafted of recycled vintage book covers & paper, bound with the coptic stitch}

Greeting Cards {Designed with creative expression, old-book illustrations & printed on recycled kraft paper.}

Jewelry {custom designed & crafted of recycled vintage materials, such as peruvian opals, brass, brooches, etc.}
