A Thankful Break

We will be taking a break from business tomorrow (Thursday, November 24) to enjoy lots of delicious food and give lots of thanks. Join us as we reopen for Black Friday. Yay for breaks and shopping!

Happy Thanksgiving Week! I love Thanksgiving. Although it may technically be classified as a “Hallmark” holiday these days, with the aisles filled with paper turkeys, pilgrim hats and cranberry sauce, it still serves as an opportunity to celebrate & remember all the amazing blessings in life. It also is the precursor to the biggest shopping day of the year, which is just another reason for us to be thankful, as that is our specialty. But truly, Thanksgiving is a holiday that we should practice day in and day out (perhaps minus the feast:), remembering to be grateful and thankful for each moment, for each breath. Here at Velour we have much to be thankful for, including family, friends, puggles and our amazing customers…the ability to have a shop that “encompasses creative, inspiring & lovely things…” is a great blessing that we don’t take lightly. So, as this Thursday is the celebratory day of Thanks, rejoice in all the beautiful things around you, big and/or small. Attempt to keep that gratitude the for the next 365 days, and we’ll do the same.  Happy Thanksgiving & Safe Shopping on Black Friday! Jessica (& the Velour Crew)
